Established in 1995 by Mr. Vittal Prabhu and backed by over three decades of experience in design, manufacturing and servicing of AC Generators and AVRs - Altex Electric Co. is a reputed and large electrical rotating machine manufacturing company. Today, we are one of the leading manufacturers of Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVRs) and Static Excitation System (SES) Panels suitable for various makes and various ratings of AC Generators. We also manufacture AVR Panels with APFC for Co-Generation, Auto Power Factor Capacitor Panels, AMF Panels, Battery Chargers and we do attend service complaints and undertake fault analysis of AC Generators. Our Location & Facility
Our unit is situated at an easily accessible location at a distance of 5 kms. from the city railway station and central bus station, and 20 kms. from the airport. We are well equipped with in-house testing facility to test the AVRs for their full load and we have our own computer aided design (CAD) facility for preparing schematic drawings. Our experienced engineers diligently attend the site servicing and site overhauling of AC Generators of large ratings.
We are associated with one of the best rewinding shops in India, well equipped with in-house facilities like overhead crane, hydraulic press, coil winding, HT coil moulding, dynamic balancing machine, baking oven, rotor winding machine, etc. and test facilities like HV test, surge comparison test, high frequency test, tan delta test, machine run test, etc.
